SEBULIBA ADRIAN

My name is Sebuliba Adrian. I am a Ugandan. I am on a journey seeking guidance and knowledge and exploring self-discovery in tech. I am going to document my background, interests, achievements, and my goals.

I was born in the suburbs of Kampala called Makerere. Where I have spent the last 17 years of my life.

I hold a bachelor’s of computer science. When I was at the university I started to work as a part-time teacher in a local school teaching science subjects. I was introduced to programming when a was in my 1st year second semester of study at the university where I learned about programming with Matlab, C/C++, and Java programming languages.

During my time at the university, I joined Engineering and Mathematics clubs and started attending seminars and conferences on programming. Because I am a quick learner and a good listener along the way I had an internship with a hardware programming company called BIT technology Uganda. Where I learned a great deal about programming hardware devices using C/C++. I started earning a living as a freelance software developer when I started developing computer applications for final-year students who needed help with their final-year projects.

In the process of attempting to develop the applications for final students, I was forced to teach myself Java programming and other languages which were very nice programming.

I started joining start-ups and applying my knowledge to help others

solve their challenges. By the year 2015, I was in a position to solve a variety of problems using languages Python, Javascript, Java, PHP, C/C++, C#, java/android and HTML/CSS for the development of multiple projects

My Interests are listening to old-school pop music
always enjoy reading, writing, and playing with the computer.

Goals
My goal is to become a world-class software developer with Andela. Become better at technical communication. Four years from now, I want to become a Senior Software Architect in the area of software development
